Elijah Kinchen is a HR Consultant at The J Group, LLC, where he partners with business leaders to design and implement strategic human capital solutions. Working closely with executive leadership, he supports client organizations across leadership development, performance management, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and workforce strategy.
Elijah brings extensive multi-state experience supporting organizations operating in more than 20 states. He has advised executive teams on organizational redesign initiatives, complex employee relations matters, talent development strategies, and federal and state compliance requirements, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and EEO regulations. His analytical and solutions-oriented approach enables him to translate workforce data into actionable strategies that mitigate risk and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Currently a Juris Doctor candidate at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Elijah integrates legal insight with practical HR expertise to deliver thoughtful, forward-thinking guidance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Loyola University New Orleans, where he received the Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam: Dr. Alton F. Doody Spirit of Leadership Award. He also serves as Director of Professional Development for SHRM New Orleans, advancing strategic capability within the HR profession.
Beyond his professional work, Elijah is a transformational speaker and mentor dedicated to empowering youth and young adults in underserved communities through leadership development and advocacy initiatives.
